Young Prince, born Prince Moabi Thulo in Rustenburg, South Africa, is not just a name making waves in the entertainment and fashion industries, he’s a story in motion. At the age of six, his life took a new turn when his mother relocated the family to Botswana. That transition, though challenging, planted the seeds of resilience, faith, and ambition that now fuel the rising star’s multifaceted journey.
Behind the fame, Young Prince describes himself as deeply spiritual, grounded, and driven by love, purpose, and authenticity. “I’m just a young guy navigating life with bold dreams and a soft heart,” he shares. His journey, summed up in three powerful words: faithful, fearless, evolving.
On-screen, he’s become a standout presence. Currently portraying Brian Nelson in the Showmax series My Other Side, he brings to life the complex son of a powerful minister, balancing emotional turmoil with inner strength. “That role really challenged me,” he admits. “It pushed me to be vulnerable and raw. It changed how I approach acting.” He also shares that his own reality show is in production and will soon air on Moja Love, offering fans an unfiltered glimpse into his real-life moments beyond the scripts.
But acting is only one part of the story. Young Prince is building an empire. He’s rebranding his fashion line from Young Prince to Wealth Wear, inspired by his other name, “Wealth.” The goal? To embody success and confidence through clothing that makes a statement. In addition, he’s working on launching a signature fragrance, a lifelong dream that combines elegance and presence into something tangible.
What separates him from many in the industry is his awareness of the power of ownership. “Talent opens doors, but business builds empires,” he says with certainty. Juggling entertainment and entrepreneurship requires structure, and he credits his strong team and disciplined schedule for helping him stay focused. On some days he’s on set, and on others he’s in boardrooms, but every move is intentional and aligned with his vision.
His presence has also earned him major brand partnerships. He fondly recalls working with Omoda, expressing deep gratitude to Miss Lungelo for taking a chance on him when he reached out. “That moment showed me the power of asking,” he says. He’s also the face of Activ 02 Cosmetics, a skincare brand that perfectly aligns with his values of authenticity and self-care. “Skincare is self-respect. It’s about feeling good in your own skin.”
Despite the glamorous exterior, his path hasn’t been without hardship. “The biggest challenge has been being misunderstood,” he admits. “People see the spotlight, not the behind-the-scenes struggle.” Through prayer, therapy, and the support of a tight-knit circle, he’s learned to navigate pressure while staying true to himself. “I’m living out prayers I once cried for.”
His heart beats for more than fame. He’s passionate about mental health and youth empowerment, particularly creating safe spaces for young people to express, heal, and create. “Too many are suffering in silence. I want to change that.”
Inspiration for him comes from many places, but he names his second mom Boity Thulo as one of his greatest supporters, alongside icons like Connie Ferguson and Bonang Matheba, who represent power, elegance, and business brilliance. His admiration also fuels his music, and he’s currently working on an EP titled That International Boy, with the track ITHUBA produced by Solo Thato and Boza The Producer leading the rollout. Dream collaborations include Boity, Donald, DJ Maphorisa, Mawhoo, and Master KG, artists who, in his words, “bring energy, emotion, and excellence.”
With a podcast (How About Love), new music, his reality show, brand partnerships, and the global expansion of Wealth Wear and his fragrance line all in motion, the road ahead for Young Prince is paved with promise. This is more than a career, it’s a calling.
If he could give one piece of advice to his younger self, it would be simple but powerful: “Don’t shrink to fit into rooms that were never meant for you. You are enough. Keep dreaming, even when it feels dark.”
Young Prince closes with a fire that lingers: “I’m just getting started because God’s not done with me yet, and the world hasn’t seen my full fire.”
